Select Home tab > Import (or you can right-click the translation memory and select Import from the shortcut menu).In the navigation tree in the Translation Memories view, select the translation memory you want to import data into.NOTE: If you want to import a number of files, place them all in a single folder so that you can import the folder. You can only import supported document types. Imported data contains translation units with their associated fields. Importing data from supported document types into a translation memory in the Translation Memories view of Trados Studio. The exported data is now available as a *.tmx document in the location you specified. When the export has finished, the items on this page are listed as Complete.Click Next to start the export process.Browse to the location where you want the export file to be created, specify a name for the file and click Save. The Select Export File dialog box is displayed. The Export Wizard is displayed on the Export Options page.
Select Home tab > Tasks group > Export.If the translation memory does not appear in the navigation tree, select File > Open > Open Translation Memory.In the navigation tree from the Translation Memories view, select the translation memory whose contents you want to export.
A *.tmx file contains translation units and their associated fields. Translation Memory data from a translation memory is exported into a *.tmx (Translation Memory Exchange) file. Through Trados Studio: Exporting Translation Memory data:
